How do you get your children to eat vegetables? Better yet, how do you talk your child into at least tasting a new vegetable recipe that you believe in your heart they'll like? In answer to the first question you can begin making sure a variety of vegetables are served during meal time as well as available as snacks. And when it comes to the "taste-test" you'd like your child to participate in -- include yourself and they're 50% more likely to join in.
For instance, the sautéed cauliflower you made that has a touch of Braggs Liquid Amino Acids or light soy sauce and a pinch of evaporated cane juice taste so cool that you know your child will love it, but their response is "No... I don't want that." Begin with yourself and simply gesture to him or her as though it's not a big deal whether or not they participate. Let us know how it goes. |
